FAQs
Do you only shoot tiny weddings, couples and women?
Well No! I find myself photographing families a few times a year. I LOVE photographing little kids. I just choose to capture those 3 things the most. To be honest I will photograph anything that’s pouring love out of it. (Hell, I’ll stop on the road and give damn alpaca a photoshoot if I feel it!)
How do you do hair and photos at the same time?
When I decided to do this I said “In order to deliver both services fully, I will only take on small wedding parties or events.” I chose this so I can move at a calm pace and still deliver both beautifully. Mix that with a good dose of time management and all is well in the world. If at any point my load grows to a heavy place or I need help, then that’s when assistants come in handy!
Are you willing to travel?
Of course! I live for adventure! If you are interested in a destination away from this little island, reach out to me so I can get better details and provide you with more information on those services.
Do you offer mentorships for other photographers?
I don’t, the reason is because im not in a place to do so. I don’t think anyone should mentor until they %100 are ready. I don’t see it in the near future but im always willing to answer any questions for my fellow photographers. I can also refer you to some amazing mentors that I learn from constantly.
What constitutes as “Strong Women” photoshoots?
My favorite Question… If you are a woman, Do you feel strong? What is it (that name, strong women) to YOU? It’s not my shoot / moment. This is yours. Maybe you just had a baby or you just got a book deal! Maybe you beat cancer or you just turned 40! I just want you to celebrate your life because you are deserving of just that and I know as a we don’t celebrate those moments nearly enough.
Why do we need a big contract? Its just a photoshoot!
Listen, I know its super scary signing on a dotted line. I don’t do it to be crazy. It’s all really to protect BOTH of us. Ive never had a contract go haywire, but its nice to have it in a worse case scenario. Trust me, mine is no more crazy than others in my industry. It’s all pretty general paperwork for most service providers in this industry.
